Terms and Conditions

  1. Whilst every care is taken of the equipment, water quality and pets undergoing treatment; all dogs receive hydrotherapy entirely at their owner’s risk.

  2. We will require confirmation of Vaccination prior to commencement of treatment.

  3. No treatment will be given without veterinary approval and owner acceptance of these terms.

  4. Bitches in season will not be able to attend sessions until their season has finished.

  5. Dogs with any infectious or contagious conditions, or who have been in contact with other pets with such conditions, will not be able to attend. Normal cancellation conditions will apply.

  6. Owners are requested not to feed their pets for at least 2 hours before an appointment, and we advise that dogs are not fed for at least 1 hour after treatment.

  7. Pets should have emptied their bowels and bladders prior to each appointment.

  8. Owners will be charged an additional £50 if their dog defecates or is sick in the pool, since the pool will need to be closed for cleaning and the next 2 swims cancelled.

  9. We reserve the right to cancel any appointment for Health and Safety reasons (eg previous dog has fouled the pool, water is not up to our cleanliness standard, electrical failure); obviously no charge will be made in these circumstances.

  10. We reserve the right to cancel any appointment in the event that the therapist is unwell or unavailable and no alternative therapist is available.

  11. Owners must inform us if during treatment, the dog’s injury or condition gets worse, or if the Veterinary surgeon advises that the treatment is stopped or suspended.

  12. All fees are to be paid in full at the end of each treatment, unless a block booking has been purchased. If an appointment is missed or cancelled on-the-day, then the full fee is due.

  13. Owners are advised to wear sensible non-slip shoes; the floor can become very wet during sessions and can become slippery.

  14. We reserve the right to use any video footage or photographs taken during a session, please let us know if this is not acceptable in advance.

  15. When not undergoing treatment, owners must keep their dogs under control and on a lead at all times.

  16. It is the owner’s responsibility to ‘Poop-a-Scoop’ after their dogs whilst on the premises and surrounding area.

  17. We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to property whilst on the premises; this includes vehicles parked at owner’s risk.

  18. We reserve the right to muzzle any dog that shows aggressive tendencies, we reserve the right to refuse to treat any dog that is in our opinion a risk to our staff.

  19. Please ensure your dog arrives with a clean coat, Hydrotherapy sessions must not be used to provide a bath.

  20. All dogs will be washed off after swimming, to ensure all sanitisation chemicals are washed from their coats, they will be partially dried using a blaster and towel (please bring along your own towel). However they will not be completely dry and owners are advised to bring along a towelling coat for your dog to help keep them warm on the way home.

  21. All pre-paid block sessions are not refundable, except in the unfortunate death of your pet. Any unused credit expires 12 months after the last visit.

  22. Whilst we endeavour to keep our staff rotas to plan, this is not guaranteed and a different therapist, than you may have expected, may treat your pet.
